A Life Devoted to Dance With over two decades of immersion in Bharatanatyam, Anita Neve stands as both an accomplished performer and a compassionate teacher. As the founder and sole mentor of Nritya Pooja Academy, she believes Bharatanatyam is not just movement—it is discipline, devotion, and deep self-expression.
Her classes welcome everyone, from wide-eyed children taking their first steps to adults rediscovering a long-lost passion. For her, teaching dance is more than choreography—it is about nurturing confidence, shaping character, and instilling joy through the timeless art of Bharatanatyam.
About The Guru
- Mrs. Anita Neve completed her Visharad in Bharatanatyam under the guidance of Guru Mrs. Priya Dineshan in 1994.
- She presented her first performance (Arangetram) in November 1994.
- Thereafter, she was invited by the Birla Group of Industries to teach, which initiated her teaching career.
- She started her own academy in 2007.
- She completed her MA in Bharatanatyam, deepening her knowledge and practice.
